Mass And Weight Calibration Services – F1 Class And Coarser Weight

Mass and weight calibration is essential for ensuring accuracy and reliability in various industries, including pharmaceuticals, manufacturing, laboratories, and trade applications. The calibration of weights ensures compliance with ISO 17025, OIML (International Organization of Legal Metrology), ASTM, and NIST standards.

F1-class and coarser weights require specialized calibration to maintain precision in weighing scales, balances, and industrial measurement systems.

At NVS HY-Techniques we calibrate weights / mass using valid procedures based on OIML R111-1 from accuracy Class F1 and coarser covering range of 1 mg to 50kg maximum.

Weighing Balance And Scale Calibration Services

Weighing balance or scale is used for weighing objects in required quantum. Depending the value of commodity various types of scales/balance is selected. Hence it is utmost important to know the indication error of balance by periodical calibration. Weighing balances are classified as Class I, II, III, IIII by OIML R76-1 guideline based on its resolution. Class I is Special class which has highest resolution and hence highest in accuracy terms, whereas Class IIII is coarsest one termed as Ordinary accuracy class.

To calibrate any balance it is utmost important that balance is in stable environmental conditions without any direct air drought or transmitted vibrations. Mass pieces used for calibration shall be selected based on class of balance with appropriate minimum associated uncertainty. Typically all special class balances like Ultra-micro, micro and semi-micro category require E1 class weights to detect the scale error with confidence. Invariably it is misinterpreted that having OIML weights with valid Traceability is adequate for balance calibration which is not TRUE and such incidence may rise to FALSE reporting or FALSE acceptance.

At NVS HY-Techniques we calibrate weighing balance from Class I to IIII having range of 1mg to 150kg.

Pressure And Vacuum Calibration Services

Pressure is expressed as force per unit area. In industry pressure measurement is carried out as one of the functional check for manufactured part or process quality parameters. SI unit for pressure is Pascal, kPa or bar. Depending on application and precision required gauges of varying accuracy are used. It is essential that before calibrating a pressure device i.e pressure gauge or pressure transmitter a test uncertainty ratio is checked. The standard or master pressure instrument used for calibration shall have better uncertainty which is 1/3rd of accuracy of device calibrated. This is required to accurately detect the errors in device being calibrated.

At NVS HY-Techniques we calibrate pressure measuring devices i.e. Pneumatic and Hydraulic from -20 mbar to 700 bar in gauge pressure mode and 1 bar in absolute meter.

Mechanical Tachometers, Speed Calibration Services

Mechanical tachometers and speed measurement devices are essential for monitoring rotational speeds in machinery, engines, industrial equipment, and testing applications. Over time, these instruments may experience wear, drift, or mechanical deviations, leading to inaccurate speed readings. Regular calibration and maintenance ensure precision, reliability, and compliance with industry standards such as ISO 17025, NIST, and ANSI/NCSL Z540-1.

At NVS HY-Techniques we calibrate Tachometers, Stroboscope, Speed Sensors, WPT Sensors Centrifuge, Refrigerated Centrifuge, by contact mode from 10 rpm to 10000 rpm and 10 rpm to 99999 rpm in Non Contact / Photo Tachometers

Mechanical Sound Level Meter / DB Meter

A Sound Level Meter (SLM) or dB Meter is an essential instrument for measuring noise levels in industrial, environmental, and occupational settings. Over time, factors such as temperature changes, humidity, microphone aging, and electronic drift can affect the accuracy of these devices. Regular calibration ensures that sound level meters provide reliable and precise measurements in compliance with international standards such as ISO 17025, IEC 61672, ANSI S1.4, and NIST traceability.

At NVS HY-Techniques we calibrate sound level meter or dB meters @ 1 kHz frequency for 94dB and 114dB.

Mechanical Gauge Calibration Services

Push-Pull Gauges and Force Gauges are essential instruments for measuring force in tension (pull) and compression (push). They are widely used in manufacturing, quality control, material testing, and research applications. Over time, these gauges may experience wear, sensor drift, and mechanical deviations, leading to inaccurate force measurements. Regular calibration ensures accuracy, compliance, and reliability in force measurements.

Mechanical Dimension Measuring Instrument And Gauges

Dimensional measurement is the only to understand and quantify the size and shape of things like parts and assemblies. It involves lengths and angles as well as geometrical properties such as flatness and straightness. Dimensional measurement is of fundamental importance for interchange ability and global trade. It is how we ensure that things will fit together. Without global length standards as the basis for standardized parts globalized industry and trade would not be possible.

At NVS HY-Techniques we calibrate the dimensional measuring instruments and gauges using appropriate level of calibration standards / master equipments which is traceable to national and international standards through unbroken traceability chain.

Volume Calibration Services – Glassware And Micropipette

Accurate volume measurement is critical in pharmaceutical, chemical, biomedical, food, and research industries. Laboratory glassware and micropipettes must be calibrated regularly to ensure precision, repeatability, and compliance with international standards.

Volume calibration verifies whether an instrument dispenses or contains the intended volume by comparing it against traceable reference standards. Errors from temperature variations, handling, wear, and contamination can affect measurement accuracy, making regular calibration essential.

At NVS HY-Techniques we calibrate volumetric devices from 10 µl to 5 litre capacity.

Force Calibration Services

Force calibration is essential for testing machines, load cells, force gauges, and universal testing machines (UTM) to ensure precise measurements in mechanical and material testing applications. These instruments are widely used in manufacturing, construction, aerospace, automotive, and research industries.

Calibration verifies the accuracy, repeatability, and traceability of force-measuring equipment against national and international standards (ISO, ASTM, NIST, NABL, etc.).

At NVS HY-Techniques we calibrate Uni axial Force machines like UTM, CTM and TTM from 25 N to 500kN.

Mechanical Torque Wrench Calibration Services

Torque wrenches are essential tools used to apply a precise amount of torque to fasteners, ensuring safety, reliability, and compliance in industries like automotive, aerospace, construction, manufacturing, and energy sectors.

Torque calibration ensures that these wrenches deliver accurate and repeatable torque values to prevent over-tightening or under-tightening, which can lead to mechanical failure or safety risks.

At NVS HY-Techniques we calibrate Torque generating devices like Torque Wrench, Screw drivers from 0.1Nm to 500 Nm.
